CubeCartSkins was founded in 2005 and was one of the first third party providers supplying skins and templates for CubeCart V3.0.7PL1 and we have grown to be one of the most well known and respected developers in the CubeCart community, with myself (Steve), and Ian spending a great deal of time supporting the largest third party CubeCart forum, CubeCartForums.org.
When CubeCartSkins was first established in 2005 it was a way for my late wife Andi to indulge her passion for web design by helping her with some extra pocket money and providing quality, affordable and stylish Templates to CubeCart store owners throughout the world.
In early 2008 we were very excited to have one of the most talented PHP/My SQL coders join our enterprise which has taken CubeCartSkins into a whole new level. Blog Officially Closed
2008/07/13We have now officially closed down our Blog.
With the release of our V4 Latest News Manager Mod we no longer need the blog as its purpose has always been a means to give you all the latest news and releases from us with us originally providing a simple feed to show on our homepage.

Downloads issue resolved
2008/06/30
We've now thankfully resolved our downloading issue so business is back to normal.
We've had to do a fresh installation and then apply all the mods one by one, testing after each install and the only mod we didn't reinstall was the integrated helpdesk from Ledgersoftware aka EverythingWeb so it seems that was causing the problem. What makes it more interesting is that he did the installation after we couldn't get it to work so that says it all really.
Back to normal now though so all is good again. Thank you for your continued patience and support during this rough patch.
Downloads issue
2008/06/29We are currently experiencing an issue with customer downloads where customer's are unable to download their order.
The issue does appear to be selective and only affecting a small portion of orders. We are investigating the problem and hope to have it resolved shortly.
In the meantime, if you experience any issue with downloading your order please open a Support Ticket where we can provide you with an alternative download route.
Integrated Help Desk Scrapped
2008/07/17As you know, we had planned to include a new integrated helpdesk after our upgrade to CubeCart Version 4. This has now been scrapped because the one we purchased was completely useless to say the least and support from the mod author was beyond rediculous. In addition it would seem that the mod is not suitable for websites which sell digital goods as it completely disabled our download system. We should really have known better than to spend our money with an unknown company but we all learn from our mistakes.
For the time being we will continue to use our current helpdesk which has served us well for 18 months and the only reason we wanted to change it was so that our customers didn't need seperate logins. We do fully intend to look into coding one ourselves but with our current work load being so high, this might be some time away from happening. We have also spoken with Projeto LTD about the idea of a new helpdesk but again this could be some time away.
We currently use WHMCS which is actually a complete billing system and helpdesk for Hosting Companies that we made some template modifications to to make it more suitable for us. This handles thousands of tickets every month without problem and the support is second to none.

To qualify for a 10% discount you must have purchased a license from Devillion LTD. This means that if you are running CubeCart Version 4 then you have already purchased a license to use it. If you are running CubeCart Version 3 you must have purchased a Copyright Removal License.

Planned Downtime
2008/06/22If you have visited our website today you would have noticed it being unnavailable. This was because we upgraded to CubeCart V4 and needed to apply a number of modifications and then go through the testing phases to make sure everything was ready before releasing it to the public.
The skin we are currently using is a modified version of Fluid Black V4. This is a temporary measure while we finish our new custom design.
Now we've upgraded the store we are able to offer our valued customer's a number of great new features which include:
- 10% Discount for CubeCart License holders - Please open a ticket at our Help Desk to and provide proof of your license purchase. If you are a V4 customer then a scanned copy of either your receipt from Devillion or a copy of your PayPal invoice. If you have purchased a Copyright Removal License for V3 then please do the same. We will then provide you with a 10% discount code to use at our store.
- Live Chat support and sales - You may have noticed that we have been trialing Live Chat over the last couple of weeks. This has proved successful so its here to stay for the time being.
